MC2 Cabin Speaker Distribution Amplifier Information.

Mid Continent Controls offers a audio distribution amplifier that is designed to supply control for the cabin speaker system by providing source selection, volume control and status feedback to the VIP switch panel. Our audio distribution amp can be configured for up to 4 stereo inputs, independently distributed to 2 stereo outputs. The number of sources, 1 to 4, is customer configurable simply by setting switches provided on the module. This source information in communicated to the switch panel, eliminating the need for a complicated programming sequence at the switch panel.

A mono PA audio input is provided to allow passenger briefings over the headphone system. A chime mute input provides a 3 second interrupt of all output channels. Trim/gain potentiometers are provided which allow level adjustments of the PA and input sources. This provides source matching to prevent one source being louder than the next during switching operations.
